Flög hem från Simferopol via Istanbul och läste följande i Hürriyet: ”To prevent unnecessary deaths, Bursa police have begun employing transportable, tire-deflating road blocks to stop vehicles that ignore orders to pull over instead of opening fire… ’The nails on the road block stick to and pierce the tires on contact. The air inside the tire is deflated through the special hollow nail forcing the vehicle to stop within 100-200 meters. Therefore, the teams can capture (the suspect) without opening fire’, said chief officer Serkan Yilmaz.”
